We are thrilled to announce a new offering at Amy Columbus Photography: 20-minute Mini Sessions.  A mini-session is for you if you have not had a recent session and would love to mark a milestone, but are not ready for a full custom session yet. Or, maybe you are a friend of a client and want to get a small taste of what we are all about. Or perhaps, you’ve been meaning to try Amy Columbus Photography but just haven’t gotten around to it.  While our mini-sessions cannot compare to the completely custom experience of a full session, they are perfect for any of these situations.

All mini-sessions will be conducted in the studio and on a weekday designated by Amy Columbus Photography.  Sessions are for 1-2 children and for ages 3 months and older.  Sorry, no newborns.  You will be able to pick out a background and/or props you would like to use in your session and are allowed one clothing change.  You will then be shown 8-10 images from the session in an online gallery.

There is a minimum investment of $265 and a $100 down payment is due at the time of booking your session.  Please see below for special packages available for the mini-sessions.

I am happy to announce our 2011 Holiday Special.  I’ve set aside three  Saturdays this year at five different locations.  Please check out the dates and locales below.  I’ve also put together three different discounted packages that are available for the special; two of the packages come with customized Holiday Cards.  The cards that are available are shown as examples below.  To reserve your session, please give me a call at 214-450-3076 or email me at amy@amycolumbusphotography.com.  Finally, if you would rather have a studio session, please let me know and we can look at some available dates.

Let’s put all of the snow and ice behind us and wish for some warm weather and Spring Time!  This year’s Tiptoe Through the Tulips Sessions will be March 19th and 20th at the Dallas Arboretum.  If you would like to schedule a session on a weekday to avoid the massive crowds at the Arboretum, please let me know and I’ll work with you on a date.  Due to the exciting news,that I’m expecting our second child, the number of sessions will be limited to 5 sessions on the 19th and 5 sessions on the 20th.  If there is inclement weather, I will be rescheduling sessions the following weekend of March 26th and 27th.

The sessions will be 45 minutes and special package pricing is available, please see below.  A $200 deposit is required to secure your appointment.

With school starting and fall just around the corner, I’m so excited to announce my 2010 Holiday Special.    You have the choice of scheduling a 45-minute Studio or Outdoor Session and there are 3 different Digital Packages to choose from.  All sessions must be completed by November 13th and a $200 deposit is required to secure your session date.  Please note, that newborn sessions are not included in the special as they require a 2 to 3-hour session.

These are 20-Minute Mini Sessions and are limited to 1 background of your choice and 1 outfit change.   If you would like to add 20 additional minutes, you may choose a second background and have 1 more outfit change. Your session fee will be credit toward your purchase of one of the packages below.  Please note that mini sessions are limited to ages 4 months and older and the Special Package Pricing applies only to these Mini Sessions and not to Full Sessions.
